Updated: September 14, 2017

Free Money Day is an annual, global event held on this day (September 15) since 2011 as a social experiment and to promote sharing and alternative economic ideas. The day marks the anniversary of the Lehman Brothers’ 2008 filing for bankruptcy. Participants offer their own money to passing strangers at public places, two coins or notes at a time. Recipients are asked to pass on one of the notes or coins to someone else. So let’s grab some of the bookies’ money and spread the love today!

MLB betting (September 15)

A turnaround in their play at home has placed the Minnesota Twins in control of the second wild card in the American League as they bid for their first postseason berth since 2010. The Twins have won 10 of their past 12 at Target Field as they prepare to host the Toronto Blue Jays on Thursday for the opener of their four-game series. With Jose Berrios coming off a quality start, the Twin should be able to keep the Blue Jay bats quiet and send the total ‘under’; overall record: 302-16-271, +42.91 units

NCAA Football betting (week 3 for September 15)

This week 3 opener in College Football features a Mountain West match-up between two sides that suffered narrow losses last week – Boise State lost 47-44 in overtime to the nationally ranked Washington State Cougars while New Mexico failed a two-point conversion that would have tied the game in a 30-28 home loss to rival New Mexico State. Wyoming went to the MWC title game last season, but Boise State and New Mexico finished with respectable 10- and nine-win seasons going 6-2 in league play for a three-way tie on top of the division. With such high stakes for both programs, we expect the Lobos to make this a competitive affair and keep the score well within two touchdowns; overall record: 10-1-6, +3.36 units
